Base & Birch was not founded by theoretical consultants. We are landowners and early adopters of natural capital projects such as Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) who have successfully established and operated one of the largest privately owned national habitat banks in the UK on our own land.
We have lived these projects personally. We understand the physical realities of land management, the complex operational challenges landowners and developers face, and the strict governance required to make these projects commercially viable over three decades.
